Kefiyalech Miju is a coffee producer from Aricha Village in Yirgacheffe, where coffee farming has been part of her family's livelihood for generations. Together with her husband, Birhanu Haile, Kefiyalech began with a small inherited coffee plot and gradually expanded their production through their work with G Broad Trading PLC. Through direct trade, the family was able to acquire additional coffee plots, all registered under Kefiyalech's name, giving her independant ownership of the land.

Inspired by other women coffee farmers in her community, she began processing and selling her own coffee separately under her name. Since 2023, their coffees have been supplied under both Kefiyalech and Birhanu, marking their journey into the specialty coffee sector. This Grade 1 Natural is produced at 1,950 metres above sea level in the highlands of Yirgacheffe. Carefully selected ripe cherries are hand-sorted and dried on raised bamboo beds, where they are regularly turned to ensure even drying. The cherries typically dry for around 21 days before reaching the desired moisture level, preserving the quality and character of the coffee.
